Why you’re stabbing in the dark for content…
If you’ve ever posted content for likes and attention, you have GOT to see this…
So here's a little secret. When you feel like you're "stabbing around in the dark", it's not that you're not creative or undisciplined. It's that you haven't pinpointed how you're going to connect. So here's how to decide that...
We all walk around with various problems, needs, desires and pains. Right?
The surprising thing is most of the time, we’re not even aware!
So, when you help someone realise their problems or desires from a new angle? You’re well on your way to connecting.
But fail to do this? And people won’t even pay attention.
Sound crazy? Let me explain…
Perfect example?
Chiropractor. Nobody is interested in chiropractic until you point out a need or desire that resonates.
Whether that’s lower back pain, a stiff neck or head aches.
That’s because most of the time, we’ve got other priorities.
-The van has broken down.
-Internet banking to do. And so on…
So you've got to point out a specific symptom. That raises the importance of that problem. Magnifying it. Opening up a window of opportunity to move your customer into step 2 of the buying decision.
Notice how I started this very email… What am I doing? Calling out a symptom.
So that’s how you connect with people.
Call out a clear symptom, and bridge the gap to your solution.
Don’t skip this. You'll be more creative. And you'll connect.
